Why the Chile Man?

• We grow our own fruits and vegetables!

  Most people making packaged products simply can’t say that. They depend on produce of questionable quality, most of which have been grown under traditional factory farming conditions (that is, using pesticides and herbicides).

  Sauces from The Chile Man contain all natural peppers grown in fields free of chemicals of any kind. And because we grow 70 varieties of peppers, our sauces have a unique flavor you can’t find on grocery store shelves.

• We do our own bottling!

  Most companies make their sauces using automated factory systems and using denatured, nutritionless foods.

  Because we control the process from beginning to end - from farm to fork; from manufacturing to packaging to distribution - you can be sure each bottle is handled with care, just as if you’d made the sauces yourself!

• We’re a small business!

  As everything from food to commerce to entertainment has gone global, isn’t is nice to know you can still purchase quality products directly from the people who made them? The Chile Man is a Loudoun County, Virginia business. Our products are grown here; our manufacturing facility is based here; and we live here (in one of the nicest places on Earth, we might add).

  Supporting a small businesses means you’re helping return money to a local community (in this case, the Shenandoah and Potomac watersheds) - not shipping it off to some multi-national corporation with absentee owners.

  Supporting our small business also means you play a part in the development of new relationships (we have customers in each of the 50 states, and even some overseas!), actively support the burgeoning authentic food movement, and aid in the re-creation of a sustainable way of life (after all, what will we have to call our own if everything is owned “over there”?)

  The Chile Man is a small business - your small business. And we conduct business the way it was meant to be conducted: person-to-person, from our hands to yours.

  Most commercial products offer a fair amount of heat (and the latest additions are simply incendiary), but neglect the key ingredient: flavor. They also include artificial thickeners and preservatives, far too much vinegar, and fillers, including sugar, apple juice, and high-fructose corn syrup.

  To the Chile Man, freshness and flavor really do mean something! Our sauces are full of real fruits and vegetables, pungent herbs and savory spices, fresh ingredients, and lots and lots of taste - without additives or fillers or any kind.
